Good artwork keeps your order moving and helps us deliver the finish you expect. Use this guide before uploading a file, or choose our design service if you need help.
Quick artwork checklist
- Create the artwork at the final ordered size, or at a clearly stated scale.
- Add bleed where the product requires it. Our default is 3 mm on every side unless the product says otherwise.
- Keep logos, text and important details inside the safe area shown in the artwork preview.
- Use sharp, high-resolution images. Our online preflight uses a default minimum of 150 DPI, while some products require more.
- Outline or embed fonts, flatten effects where appropriate, and check spelling before approval.
File setup
Size and bleed
Match the dimensions selected on the product page. Extend backgrounds and images through the bleed area so trimming does not leave an unwanted white edge.
Resolution
Check images at their final print size. Enlarging a small image lowers its effective DPI and can make the result look soft or pixelated.
Colour
CMYK artwork gives the most predictable print result. RGB and screen colours may shift when converted for print, and exact colour matching must be agreed before production.
Fonts and lines
Embed or outline fonts and avoid extremely fine lines or tiny text. If a brand font is essential, include a licensed copy or outlined artwork.

Upload your finished file while configuring the product. The artwork preview and automated checks help identify common size, shape and resolution issues before checkout.
Send after ordering
Complete the order first and send the artwork afterwards using the instructions in your order email. Production begins only after we have received and approved the file.
Design for me
Choose our design service when you need ELLESI to prepare the layout. The displayed design fee applies unless the product or a custom quotation states otherwise.
Preflight, proofs and approval
Automated preflight is a helpful first check, not a guarantee that every design or production issue has been found. We may contact you if the file needs attention. When a proof is supplied, check the wording, dimensions, layout, contact details, images and finishing carefully.
Your approval authorises production. Changes after approval may require a new quote and may restart the lead time. You remain responsible for having permission to use every logo, image, font and other element you supply.
