Who handles your information
ELLESI handles information submitted through this website and during the quotation, artwork, ordering, production and delivery process. Send privacy questions to sales@ellesi.co.za or contact the studio at 130 St Georges Road, Observatory, Johannesburg, 2198.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use ELLESI services, we may collect:
- your name, company, VAT number, email address, telephone number and billing or delivery address;
- account, quotation, order, payment-status, delivery and customer-service records;
- artwork, logos, photographs, instructions and other files you submit;
- device, browser, IP address, cookie, security and website-usage information; and
- messages you send by form, email, telephone or WhatsApp.
Please provide only the information and files ELLESI needs to help with your request or complete your order.
How we use your information
ELLESI uses information to prepare quotations, create and manage customer accounts, process payments, check artwork, manufacture orders, arrange collection or delivery, issue invoices, provide support, improve the website and protect customers and the business from misuse.
We also send operational messages about quotations, artwork, proofs, payment, production, collection and delivery. Marketing messages are handled separately, and you can opt out using the message instructions or by contacting us.
Service providers and retention
ELLESI shares only the information needed by trusted providers that help complete or support your order, such as website and email hosts, PayFast, production partners, advisers, security services and couriers. Some providers may process information in another country; ELLESI expects every provider to handle customer information carefully and only for the agreed service.
We retain information for as long as it remains useful for orders, customer support, accounts, invoices, security and business records. Artwork and production files may be removed sooner when they are no longer needed. You are welcome to ask whether a previous file is still available before placing a repeat order.
Cookies and website data
Essential cookies keep the cart, checkout, account and security functions working. Optional analytics or marketing tools may be used where enabled. Blocking cookies in your browser may prevent parts of the shop from working correctly.
Security
ELLESI uses practical technical and organisational safeguards for customer information. No online or storage system is completely risk-free, so contact us promptly if you believe your account or information may have been compromised.
Your choices
You may ask what customer information ELLESI holds, request a correction, update your communication preferences or ask us to remove information that is no longer needed for an active order or essential business record. We may ask you to confirm your identity before making account or information changes.
